I am just reading your website as my mother died last week as a result of negligence at her care home.

She was never properly looked after in there, never properly cleaned and left for days unchecked, the staff didn't care and the food was terrible.

Her health deteriorated in the home, she would keep loosing weight and getting sick and depressed, which believe made her more vulnerable and fragile leading to the fatal accident that took her life.

She was not fully able to look after herself and she was being moved out the bath when she
fell out of the sling that was being used to hoist her.

She fell and banged her head and was knocked unconscious, she was later taken to hospital and died later from bleeding on the brain, the doctors told us her fragile state contributed to her death.

The wrong sized sling was used by the staff in care home to move her at the time.

could I claim compensation for medical negligence that led to a fatal accident on behalf of my mother?

How much compensation could I claim for fatal damages in a medical negligence case?
