Hi, my partner was knocked down by a car a few weeks ago and was knocked unconscious and had some stitches in his head and a few weeks off work. I am wondering if I can see if this would class as a pedestrian claim, we didnt get the car details yet but the police did because they were there with the ambulance team.

Hey Vareat, I'm sorry to hear about your partner. It would indeed count as a pedestrian claim and he'd be able to claim either through a solicitors or through the responsible drivers insurance. If you don't know how to get the car details you can always contact the police on 101 with area, date & time of accident and they can provide you the reg and insurance along with the crime reference number if you need it for your claim at any point
