Tripped on loose drain

I was crossing road opposite the bank and as i was crossing i have caught my foot in a loose drain. This has made me fall over forward and cut my face on kerb, I've had stitches in my lip and I'm all bruised! Done an accident report with council but they just apologised and not taking it any further, I'm fuming about that and am looking to claim.

Hey Looke. Sorry to hear that, I can understand why you're upset at the council not taking it further. If you can get a copy of the accident report have a look for a personal injury solicitor that will make a claim for you, they can use a copy of the accident report as evidence and it would really help you with the process!
